Factory Interior Morning

This scene is inspired by real-world factories, my visit to the Lost Village Museum, and the atmosphere of Resident Evil 4 Remake. I focused on creating a grounded, immersive environment using a limited asset pool while exploring set dressing and lighting.

The core structural elements—walls, floors, and window glass—were built by me using Megascans materials, further customized in Quixel Mixer and detailed with vertex painting in Unreal Engine to create layered textures (e.g., plaster over brick, worn concrete revealing brick beneath).

Many props, such as workbenches, tools, and bottles, were hand-modeled by me in a previous project and reused here. After experimenting with asset pack integration, I combined my models with Megascans and Dekogon assets to enhance variety and visual cohesion. This mix allowed me to present multiple forms of similar items—like different types of saws—without visual repetition.

Smaller details like crates, cardboard boxes, and background elements were strategically placed to maximize variety using minimal asset types—an approach inspired by how clutter is handled in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
